Welcome to the ITG2010 web centre

I am very proud that Sydney and Australia will be the site for the 35th Annual International Trumpet Guild Conference. As the first ITG Conference to be held in the Southern Hemisphere, this could well be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for delegates from all parts of the world.

ITG Conferences are an exciting way to experience everything that the trumpet world has to offer. The range of events usually has something for everyone. 2010 will be no different. Whether you are a young student, seasoned professional or enthusiastic come-back player, ITG2010 will be aiming at offering you a full and memorable experience.

I am very excited that we have scheduled a youth day on July 6 as a prelude to the main 4 day conference. Of course, delegates of all ages are welcome to come to all 5 days. High School students from the USA will be especially pleased that they are able to attend an ITG Conference that is held AFTER their school year finishes.

Youth day will be aimed at the younger developing player but there should be plenty of pedagogical information and just pure inspiration to make it worthwhile for any player aiming at getting back to basics. Each ITG Conference is different and Sydney, with all it has to offer the international visitor, is sure to be a stand-out event. Why not start your planning early and arrange to stay longer, before or after the event, to have a look around Sydney, Australia and even, perhaps, New Zealand. It will be worth the trip and worth the stay.

We will be providing information on touring Australia, along with the usual conference program information on the site. Check back regularly or register for the emailing list - itg2010@trumpetguild.org

Looking forward to seeing you at ITG2010. Click here to return to the Australian Trumpet Guild website.
